The Church of God International is based in Tyler, Texas. Incorporated in 1978, CGI has ministers and congregations scattered throughout the United States and Canada. We also have churches in Jamaica, the Philippines, and Australia. Our mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world (Matthew 28:19). We are blessed with four basic tools to accomplish this:
- Personal and local church evangelism.
- Television broadcasting.
- Booklets, brochures, and study CDs.
- The Internet.
Our local congregation here in Montgomery welcomes those of like minds and understanding to come worship with us on the day the God set aside for us to dedicate to him. We are constantly seeking his truth by following his laws and commandments as guides to our everyday lives. Please feel free to join us as it is God's will.

As we grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ, we must focus each day on His kingdom and spend time in His word, We must meditate on those things that create in us the fruits of God’s spirit so that His light will shine through us. We are to live our lives as examples for others to see Christ through us; not as the Pharisees, but by every living word of God as so demonstrated by our elder brother, Jesus The Christ.
I will seek YOU
with my whole heart! (Psalm 119:10)
This week’s focus
II Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: the old has gone, the new has come!
When you read those words do you think to yourself, “I am a new creation, the old has passed away”? Have you ever asked yourself, have I really purged that old person who was once holding me back? If you have not, then now is as good a time as any to ask yourself that or similar question(s), particularly since Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread are fast approaching.
In our daily walk with Christ our Elder Brother at our side (Heb 9:15), we must not fail to concentrate on our Father’s kingdom, His word, His truth, His laws, precepts and commands. For we are under the new covenant and He has given us His Holy Spirit to guide, lead and comfort us in times of trouble as well as times of blessing. Take time each day to mediate on God’s word through prayer, supplication and fellowship with those of like mind, edifying and supporting one another. (I Thess 5:11)
Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. (I Cor 5:8, NIV).
